elexxion AG welcomes renowned Senior Advisor

* Dr. Jürgen Eberlein will serve in a supportive capacity at elexxion as of January 2011

Radolfzell, Germany, 26.01.2011 - elexxion AG (WKN AOKFKH), an innovative medical technology company specializing in the development, production and marketing of dental laser systems, is welcoming a high-quality expert from the dental industry as its new Senior Advisor. Dr. Jürgen Eberlein, former president and now board member of the German Dental Industry Association (VDDI), one of the country’s largest industry associations with around 200 member companies, will support elexxion as of January 2011.

In addition to a Ph. D. in Chemistry, Dr. Eberlein brings with him more than 30 years of experience and an extensive network of contacts in the dental industry. Internationally, he has also made a name for himself as president of both International Dental Manufacturers (IDM) and the Federation of the European Dental Industry (FIDE). Since 2005 he has been director of the Japan-based GC Corporation, a worldwide provider of dental products with more than 2,000 employees. He previously served as president of GC Europe for seven years, during which time the subsidiary achieved the leading position in the market.
